Oh, anguish of my soul so near
The death of love so burning clear
My heart knows not when winters end
Shall be found.
Love lost leaves empty the chambers of my heart
The sound of hollowness - empty - resounds.
Dear God in heaven above,
Lord of my heart,
Turn not from my plight.
Oh that joy would touch my soul
That hollow rooms would become full
That love would find destiny in my heart
That it would play a beautiful part(August 2011)
